WW2 day

On Tuesday, Year 6 had World War 2 day and dressed up as evacuees. In the morning, we practised the air raid safety procedure and when the siren went off, we had to hide under the tables until the all clear siren went off. We were also prepared for evacuation and Mr Hebdon and Miss Hamilton gave us tips for getting picked by a host family such as shining our shoes and standing up straight. In the afternoon, we created propaganda posters using photos we had taken earlier in the day. We also created some ‘Blitz art’ using oil pastels. It was a very fun day!
