Our curriculum is the vehicle our teachers use to deliver our vision of “Always Learning”.
It should be carefully engineered to ensure statutory coverage and meet the particular needs that may be specific to our children. This is what we mean by “Cultural Capital”.
The curriculum includes all planned activities that we organise in order to promote rich memorable experiences that deliver high quality learning and personal development for our children.
It goes well beyond the statutory requirements of the National Curriculum and includes the wide range of extra-curricular activities that our school provides that enriches the experience of our children.
It also includes the `hidden curriculum', or what the children learn from the way they are treated and expected to behave.
Our curriculum aims to enable our children to grow into positive, responsible people, who are knowledgeable and expert learners. We want them to be able to work well and co-operate with other and achieve personal fulfilment and potential.
