Are you a graduate with a good degree who would like to become a qualified teacher in 2 years’ time (Sept 2021)?

Our “Outstanding” school (Ofsted 2015) is an active contributor to a local SCITT and has recent experience in successfully supporting aspiring teachers who have successfully gained qualified Teacher Status (QTS) through the School’s Direct Initial Teacher Training Programme.

We are looking to appoint a graduate as full time Learning Support Assistant to join our team for one year starting in the Autumn 2019 term.  If you are interested in this role, you will need to have decided to apply to join the School Direct teacher training programme for a September 2020 start.

School Direct trainees spend the vast majority of their time in the classroom rather than rather via the traditional PGCE programme where the majority of time is spent in university. You may be a 21 year old who has recently gained a university degree or equally you could be a more mature graduate who is looking for a career change.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated person who is committed to self-improvement and team work and can be adaptable enough to operate within the context of a large primary school.
