Knightwood - Early Birds Breakfast Club and Child Care Vouchers
We are offering a breakfast club for children who attend Knightwood Primary School.
“Early Birds” will operate from 7.45am until 8.30am every school day. The cost will be:
£3.50 per child per session.
£5.50 per session if you have two children attending the club
£7.00 per session if you have three children attending the club.
Please note that the charge is for any part of the session regardless of the time the children arrive. There will be no refund if the school is caused to close in bad weather or if your child does not attend due to illness.
Members of our support staff team will be supervising the club, there will be a minimum of three supervising adults each day.
The children are offered a drink and a cereal/breakfast bar which is included in the cost. Our expectation is that children have eaten some breakfast before they arrive. In other words, we will only be providing a “top up”.
Taking account of the legal ratios of supervising adults to children, we can only offer a limited amount of spaces which will be allocated on a first come first serve basis and only on receipt of payment for half a term in advance. At the moment it is not possible to accept “odd day drop ins” though we would obviously try to support any of our families in emergency situations if we are able.
Please see below for a booking form. If you would like any further information please contact the school office.

Tax Free Childcare Vouchers
If you choose to pay for Breakfast Club using the New Government Scheme of Tax Free Childcare we need to register your details with County in order for the payment to reach the school's account.
Please can we ask you to let us know your child's unique Tax Free Reference number which is given to each child. Payment details do not include the name of the child or parent. We will then forward the number onto County so that your payment is identified and allocated to the school. You can let us know this information as soon as its known.
If you could also let us know when you have made payment this would also help us keep track of payments.
